Initializing python interpreter causes error when setting data as tilt series #2203

Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

A long python-json related error displays if the python interpreter is initialized too early.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Select the Python Console from View -> Python Console
  2. Initialize the python interpreter, by clicking on it. It should display the Python version on the console.
  3. Load a dataset, click tomography -> Mark Data As Tilt Series
  4. See Error

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • Operating system: macOS 11.6
  • Tomviz version: 1.10

Hardware (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Macbook Pro
