Considering that all material associations are derived, shouldn't we include this distinction when setting its stereotype? I.e., at the moment the user select <> as the association's stereotypes, we could "mark" the association as derived. This would improve the resulting model quality as well as make clear to the user that the association derivation must be modeled/defined.

Just to make it clear, I'm talking about "checking" the Derived box inside the Association Specification, just like shown in the image below.
