I get a Odoo Server Error when trying to install remove_odoo_enterprise

Module

remove_odoo_enterprise

Describe the bug

I created a new database, demo, for the sole purpose of testing the debranding modules for Odoo 17.0. Both portal and odoo online modules worked pretty fine, but when trying to install remove_odoo_enterprise I get a "Odoo Client Error" wtih the following traceback:

To Reproduce

Affected versions:
Odoo 17.0
remove_odoo_enterprise for Odoo 17.0
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. create a fresh, new database
  2. update apps list
  3. install remove_odoo_enterprise

Expected behavior
Module working

Additional context
I am running the Odoo instance on a VM instance (debian 12) with no modifications to the codebase or anything.

Author

modified the /views/res_config_settings_views.xml and changed the xpath expression from "//setting[@id='appstore']" to "//setting[field[@widget='upgrade_boolean']]", I then restarted the odoo instance, logged into the database as an admin user, and with developer mode with assets turned on, I updated the App List and tried to reinstall the remove_odoo_enterprise module. It worked! After installing multiple modules, there were no "enterprise" labelled options available to choose from.
