Problem: we would like to create a geographical map on our website that can be updated automatically everytime we update our markdown.
Example:
List of events can be visualized on a map (an icon per location with a list of events for this location)
List of specialists in the Nordics, with information on the area of expertise
How: we need your competence and are open to any solutions; the only important thing is that our contributors can only update simple markdown files (not complex HTML or javascript).
Should we use Javascript such as Leaflet.js?
Could we use folium python package?
How to automate it?
Help provided: we do not know much about javascript but we know how to generate maps in python (if it helps...). Ping me and I'll try to answer you as quickly as possible.
