What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. if I specify the server using this syntax 192.168.1.1:3306 the connection to 
database do not work


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version: 0.0.3
on ubuntu linux


Please provide any additional information below.

when I work with remote server I use connection with different port number and 
is impossible to use the application

Ability to specify port is coming in the next mini release, for now you could 
use the patch from http://code.google.com/p/phpmydiff/issues/detail?id=4
