From what I've been able to test with automatic vs manual sensitivity, with round "Particles" (100 bars, noise reduction at 20, stereo, monstercat smoothing enabled), the "Sensitivity" slider is very hard to control accurately. It seems like only the first 0-5% of the slider are usable, whereas anything over 5% just keeps the visualization peaked at all times, on any type of modern music (my benchmark here is Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean")… but it's very hard to be precise with the mouse when ~5% is something like 5 pixels on the screen and the slider's huge drag handle obscures everything.
Have you considered some different scale of maximum value for the slider, showing its value label, or perhaps a completely different widget (ex: spinbutton)?
