Add "Red underline to mark misspelled words" #174
Comments
I'm on it! (Actually I've been on it for a few hours already 😉) |
It looks like QML is not conducive to spell checking, so this will probably go on hold until QML can be better spell-checked. |
Well, maybe Sonnet could help here: https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/sonnet But I don't see, that they support Qml either. |
Well, (recites in a monotone) the problem is that the underlying TextDocement may not be modified. This is a really annoying part of Qt. |
Here is how NeoChat does it: https://invent.kde.org/network/neochat/-/commit/8f309ca958fcf8ebfe5b4e35539f67811e44700f |
HI. Can it be merged, in a way, with Nheko code? |
On KDE you now have spell checking by default it seems. Probably part of the KDE theme or such and you can toggle it using the right click menu on the input fields. |
A simple spellcheck/red underline to show misspelled words would be just dandy. Thanks!
