NPM Docker Performance for Site Downloads

Hi Team,

NPM is in place and works fine in a Docker container on a pretty beefy Debian server. However, file downloads and uploads to and from NPM are horribly slow.

Is there a tuning document, or are there any suggestions for improving network upload/download speeds.
