Tested with version 230430.

Any idea about the reason why bots do tend to stay around this area, going left and right (from health bonus to health bonus) again and again?

If you have enough bots around, the map is still playable, but with just a few ones, you might notice they tend to stay around there...

I just published a test version here #20 (comment) (oacmpctf1_gigtest2 - 2024-05-24) which also includes a fix for this, in case you want to try it.

To stop the bots from going between those two health bonuses forever, I moved the one on the left of the screenshot of the opening post just a little bit, and the one on the right more noticeably, ending up nearer to the upper right area of the screenshot.
Bots seem to roam better now, although they still have some preference for that area. Maybe the health bonus on the left might be moved around a little more?

I also enlarged a bit a couple of areaportal passages (reducing their botclip walls accordingly), in order to make them a bit less "chocke point" for bots passage.
