Description
Starting with Neo-Backup release 8.3.5 the "Device lock" feature does not work: no device credentials are required on startup with the setting enabled. I tested all releases from 8.3.4 to 8.3.8: feature still works in release 8.3.4, but does not work in 8.3.5 and later.

My device has lock screen password configured, no biometric credentials set.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Install Neo-Backup 8.3.5 or later
  2. Go to Settings and enable "Device lock"
  3. Exit Neo-Backup application
  4. Launch Neo-Backup application
  5. Application Homepage is shown, no device credentials needed to use application

Expected behavior
5. Device credentials should be verified in order to grant access to the application

  • Android Version: 13
  • ROM: OxygenOS 13.1 (official version from OnePlus)
  • App's Version: 8.3.5 to 8.3.8
