Could we have the interface in languages other than English?

Hello,

Yes it is possible. Mukurtu comes with the Locale module enabled by default, localizing the interface would be handled like standard Drupal 7: https://www.drupal.org/docs/7/multilingual/translating-site-interfaces/introduction-to-translating-site-interfaces

Improving Mukurtu specific support and documentation for localization for both content and interface is on our development road map. In the future we should have more detailed information/examples of this process. Thanks for your question.
