ESP web flasher #1221

For completeness here is the link to the EspEasy Github repo. Seems it is called a web based flasher, so I have updated the title of this discussion. So the question is whether it would be possible to deploy Moddable on an ESP with that library? Because that would be really lower the threshold to get started with Moddable. Especially for Node-RED, which attracts a lot of less technical people as "low code" platform. And like me, when the lady of the house wants to get back to a less complex setup (which would also be maintanable after I have left his blue planet...). So let's call this a desperate attempt to get Moddable back into my house and life :-) Hopefully you find this idea good enough to have at least a quick look at that library!! |

Hi everybody,
Recently I had to install EspEasy on an ESP32. And I must admit that it was indeed very 'easy' to get it up and running in no time, even with noob level knowledge:
So this has a few advantages:
I was wondering if a similar mechanism has ever been taken into consideration for Moddable. I mean that you open a web application, which allows you to quickly deploy Moddable on an attached micocontroller? So no need to go through pages of commands that need to be executed manually.
Or is something similar perhaps completely not possible with Moddable, for some reason(s)?
Thanks for illuminating me!
Bart
