Some modalities code is based on or copied from existing repos. This code typically has MIT or Apache license which for example require providing the original license with the code or explicitly stating that the code is modified.

### Suggest a potential alternative/fix

- A unified strategy for handling such cases should be fixed
- Existing code should be marked accordingly.
