This is a fork of the below mentioned I2C LCD library. Some major changes to reduce the time for writing to a LCD have been done. Furthermore the init sequence has been changed for improved reliability on start up.

As per Pull Request johnrickman#45 from the forked library the original library was licensed LGPL 2.1+. Since this code is a derivate from this library this code is also licensed as LGPL 2.1+
