NTAG 5 Link Click demo application is developed using the NECTO Studio, ensuring compatibility with mikroSDK's open-source libraries and tools. Designed for plug-and-play implementation and testing, the demo is fully compatible with all development, starter, and mikromedia boards featuring a mikroBUS™ socket.

This example demonstrates the use of NTAG 5 Link Click board by programming the specified NDEF URI record to the memory, and showing the memory read/write feature.

ntag5link_cfg_setup
Config Object Initialization function.
void ntag5link_cfg_setup ( ntag5link_cfg_t *cfg );
ntag5link_init
Initialization function.
err_t ntag5link_init ( ntag5link_t *ctx, ntag5link_cfg_t *cfg );
ntag5link_default_cfg
Click Default Configuration function.
err_t ntag5link_default_cfg ( ntag5link_t *ctx );
ntag5link_write_ndef_uri_record
This function writes specific NDEF URI record to the memory address specified with NTAG5LINK_NDEF_MESSAGE_START_ADDRESS macro.
err_t ntag5link_write_ndef_uri_record ( ntag5link_t *ctx, uint8_t uri_prefix, uint8_t *uri_data, uint8_t data_len );
ntag5link_write_message_to_memory
This function writes specified number of data bytes to the user memory starting from block_addr.
err_t ntag5link_write_message_to_memory ( ntag5link_t *ctx, uint16_t block_addr, uint8_t *message, uint16_t message_len );
ntag5link_read_message_from_memory
This function reads specified number of data bytes from the user memory starting from @b block_addr.
err_t ntag5link_read_message_from_memory ( ntag5link_t *ctx, uint16_t block_addr, uint8_t *message, uint16_t message_len );
Initializes the driver and logger and performs the Click default configuration which enables the device and formats its user memory. After that it programs the specified NDEF URI record to the memory.

Writes a desired number of data bytes to the memory and verifies that it is written correctly by reading from the same memory location and displaying the memory content on the USB UART approximately every 5 seconds.

This Click board can be interfaced and monitored in two ways:
- Application Output - Use the "Application Output" window in Debug mode for real-time data monitoring. Set it up properly by following this tutorial.
- UART Terminal - Monitor data via the UART Terminal using a USB to UART converter. For detailed instructions, check out this tutorial.
The complete application code and a ready-to-use project are available through the NECTO Studio Package Manager for direct installation in the NECTO Studio. The application code can also be found on the MIKROE GitHub account.
