[FREQ] Option to ramp zoom

Context

What are you trying to do and how would you want to do it differently? Is it something you currently you cannot do? Is this related to an issue/problem?
I would like the ability to call rampZoom(), similar to Apple's own https://developer.apple.com/documentation/avfoundation/avcapturedevice/ramp(tovideozoomfactor:withrate:) function for smooth zooming to defined steps.

Alternatives

Can you achieve the same result doing it in an alternative way? Is the alternative considerable?
I don't believe I can do it otherwise.
