Right, thanks for opening the issue. With client version 8, the download file structure changed. But version 8 changed a lot of other things, so me or someone needs to find time to rework it. Device: Intel NUC 7th gen i5 Cause: https://download.foldingathome.org/releases/public/release/fahclient/debian-stable-64bit/ is not a valid URL Suspect fix: Update URL to https://download.foldingathome.org/releases/public/fah-client/debian-stable-arm64/release/ or https://download.foldingathome.org/releases/public/fah-client/debian-10-64bit/release/ Further issue: trying to change command during the failed install to 'https://download.foldingathome.org/releases/public/fah-client/debian-10-64bit/release/' URL results in the error 'invalid user fahclient' |
- DietPi-Software | Folding@Home: Resolved an issue where the installation failed. Due to larger changes in Folding@Home v8, v7 will be installed for now, before we find time to implement the needed changes for v8. Many thanks to @cruzadernl for reporting this issue: #7187
