We have a note on a software emulator which have the same behavior.
Temporary graphical glitches at the start of a new game under certain conditions, such as after interrupting the AKA-O battle in the attract mode. Caused due to inaccurate handling of VDP2 RBG0 per-dot coefficient reading from a memory area not configured for that purpose via RDBS

A user on Discord (cavenoire) informed us about an issu with the game on the unstable 2024-12-12 core version.
If we let the game on the Attract mode for more than 2 times, the normal gameplay afte that will be full of junk pixels.
Happens also when you have played a first time on the game, died completely during it (GAME OVER) and want to run a second gameplay just after that.
Visible on the Stage 3A, just after the end of the introduction.
