Issue to check that all our changes have hit the requirements outlined by @ehogan for the Git and GitHub migration project.

I have done my final checks and I think we have included everything from https://github.com/MetOffice/Science-Git-Migration-Project/issues/56 and the requirements document. I'll leave this open for @ehogan to add their thoughts on anything that might be missing still.
