As far as I know youtube and youtube-live is handled the same way on the site atm, i.e. we use the randomly generated youtube-live IDs for streams that change every time a broadcast goes live. Instead, investigate if it's easy to support embedding youtube-channel-id/live (or youtube-channel-name/live ?), e.g. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAABafdftW1s-6TQSl-z9TA/live so people don't have to change the URL every time.
