Working Setup:

  • Win 10
  • Rocksmith update 7
  • Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 2nd Gen (16bit/48 KHz input) with driver 4.63.24
  • Schecter Damien with active EMG's
  1. Download this version of NoCableLauncher that is waiting to be merged: Version 2 #70 from https://github.com/Mywk/NoCableLauncher/releases

  2. Configure NCL as normal

  3. IMPORTANT! Make sure that M$ BS privacy setting are configured correctly: https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthread.php/1875754-Rocksmith-don-t-recognize-real-tone-cable-in-Windows-10-1803-Spring-update and https://imgur.com/FKIbSBx.
Make sure that "Allow apps to access your microphone" is enabled in microphone settings.

Thank you for the instructions for the scarlett.

Just a note on this. I attempted to follow this but I was unable to get in game. I was able to get RS to recognize the the input when I selected the microphone option in-game. And not the realtone option. Just thought I'd put that here since I didn't realize you had to select the option in game as well
