Hi,

In my understanding, the package should be possible to test without PyTango installed.
At least the example simple should be runnable without tango, shouldn't it?

Hi,

sorry for the late reply. I think in principle it should be possible to remove the dependency on taurus from the example, but since taurus I believe depends on pytango, it's stuck. Feel free to contribute a tango-free example!

Also, we just moved the official home of this repo to gitlab (see README) so please do any followup there.
