If you know more details talk about them. Eg does it know about github and bitbucket sources? Should it ? I Mean there more than 200 vim-snippets clones (all of them only adding 1-5 snippets). Is this useful?

VAM's documentation already talks about Marc Weber wanting this to be an extension, because he doesn't know whether he can maintain it.
