Anyhow, maybe you would consider this feature: Use a long press/single or multiple click on the back button to activate the backlight... simple and practical enough? It is frustrating that to activate the light without exiting apps the user has to have the backlight motion feature on... this uses up too much battery if not disabled again. Why not, for example, long press to activate backlight manually, and normal press to exit/back out... still leaves room for the doubleback patch as well. Having the light stay on longer (a preset time or selectable option) would also be as useful as doing the same for the 8 app limit.
