When the pulse tube cannot be turned on in the software automatically, disconnect the compressor <-> PC link, turn on the PT on the compressor and then reconnect the link.
Also when closing up use _**ONLY isopropanol**_ instead of ethanol for being safe to the O-ring.
Once automation is stopped, it can be restarted by clicking on the Cryoconcepts logo in the top left of the software. This will require the user to enter the fridge software password, then it will bring up a menu with advanced options. Select restart, select the current step where the automation was stopped, and click OK to restart the cooldown.
Alternatively, if the automation is not working properly and the cooldown needs to be aborted, the fridge can manually be placed in the below state in order to collect all mix. The reading on the tank in the diagram should reach 100% within a few minutes. The system can be left in this state for a few hours to ensure that all mix is collected before closing the manual valve to the tank. (Note that the OVC pumps and V30/V31 do not need to be on).

**Important**: When restarting a cool down using an automatic cycle, please ensure that the pulse tube is turned on manually and working before pressing the "start" button. After that, the correct automatic cycle should show like this:
For automatic warm-up procedure: [Click "Start" -> stop automatic cycle] -> [Click "Stop" -> uncheck "reference to 4K" (if the thermometer is not working) -> then start automatic back to dump]. The fridge should revert back to fast pumping and the following state. After a while V16 will open to collect the mix.
