Security Policy

Reporting a Vulnerability

We take the security of our open-source project, tokyo-night-tmux, very seriously. If you discover a potential security vulnerability in our codebase, we appreciate your help in disclosing it to us responsibly.

To report a security vulnerability, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at [email protected] with a detailed description of the vulnerability you have discovered. Please include the following information:

    • A clear and concise description of the vulnerability
    • Steps to reproduce the vulnerability
    • Potential impact of the vulnerability
    • Any additional information that may help us understand and address the issue
  2. We will acknowledge receipt of your report within 48 hours and provide an estimated timeline for addressing the vulnerability.

  3. We kindly request that you do not disclose the vulnerability publicly until we have had sufficient time to investigate and address the issue.

  4. Once the vulnerability has been addressed, we will publicly acknowledge your responsible disclosure, if you wish.

We actively maintain and support the latest version of tokyo-night-tmux. We encourage all users to keep their installations up to date with the latest release to ensure they have the most recent security fixes.
