@tws223 @esd223 @jum223 @mromano224 @SebastianStoneham @annakharv46 @vrg223 @XiaozheZhangLehigh @SebastianStoneham Divide up by states teams. Monday: We should report any areas where this type of analysis shows concerns (so compile any pics that show possible issues), and consider routes forward. |
It's ready for y'all. Just made a large push to the repo. You might be interested in the Took me 90 minutes to figure that out, but it's easy to adapt from here to use with alt variables/definitions. If some of the graphs are easier to use than others, make a note. |
Oh also, if you find a place that you want to show Matt (it looks like the area of concern is seeing fewer loans or more denials than adjacent tracks), you can save a PNG from the webpage! |
@donbowen it feels like only Phoenix has the graphics with content, and others plot only has the scale on it without other content |
@XiaozheZhangLehigh 's issue and everyone: Use the plotly graphs. #14 (comment) |
Wow, those are so cool!!! It just feels like play the game of Earth OL. |
Well, hopefully your classmates helped you figure that out. The red lines depend on the particulars of the graph... maybe the filename or title of the graph help out? |
@tws223 @esd223 @jum223 @mromano224 @SebastianStoneham @annakharv46 @vrg223 @XiaozheZhangLehigh @SebastianStoneham Which branches have highlights from the maps to show Matt today? As I said, "Oh also, if you find a place that you want to show Matt (it looks like the area of concern is seeing fewer loans or more denials than adjacent tracks), you can save a PNG from the (plotly) webpage!" |
Here are some notes Thomas and I took from looking at the PHX Maps: Denial Rate:
High hispanic
High asian
Basically, they don’t serve a ton of loans to PHX in general, but in the areas with majority-minority they have higher denial rates. Highest denial rates observed are the majority minority areas. Compared to all other banks they are denying more in PHX. Dollars in Loans:
Log num loans:
High black areas
