I have been using seqfold to design oligo constructs, but have run into issues when I use degenerate bases (like in unique molecular identifiers, UMIs). Would there be a straightforward way to allow for degenerate bases? A minimal version of this might be to ignore their interactions, but include them in the backbone? Thanks!

Hey @mckellardw, while this would be great to add to seqfold, it's in a pretty minimal kind of maintenance mode right now (I'm just keeping an eye out for big bugs). If someone chooses to implement and contribute this feature I'd happily merge it in though.
To help clarify and scope the feature, could you provide some minimal examples of what it'd look like from a user POV? Maybe also some examples if this is standard to some other tools
