Huh, I had no idea
I hope this doesn't imply that the app will crash every time we perform an action on already dead plugins tho, maybe I could adjust the issue if that does happen for it to be "fixed"

No, it doesn't normally happen. If the app is dead or can't display the novels it should only show an empty screen with an error message.
