@Kugelblitz360 Great job. Thank you for your great work. I started to proof-read today and will continue in the next few days. Here is a non prioritized list of thoughts. I will split it into multiple parts and therefore call it PART #1, PART #2, and so on.

Distinguishing headline-levels from each other

The three headlines kind of look the same even though „HDMI“ and VGA“ are sub-headlines to „Video and Audio“. Is this something you can change in the CSS or the general "look and feel template" of the docs? See screenshot:

What I am asking for here is kind of state of the art on all websites I know. But I am aware that this might require some JavaScript coding on the level of the WebCMS template you are using, so while I would really like to see this working I am understanding that free time/energy resources for this project are limited :-) See screenshot:

1) Video and Audio

I propose a small change/enhancement of the language to ensure that we are actually not ever outputting "VGA". We are only using the common VGA connector to output various different retro signals (none of them is actually part of the "VGA" specification of PCs...) It is just the CONNECTOR that happens to be "VGA" and it is the fact that a lot of displays that are able to display real VGA are also able to display various retro signals coming through the VGA connector. So here is the proposed change of the intro text under the headline "Video and Audio" - I rewrote the whole paragraph but only in a minimal invasive way:

The MEGA65 sports two different connectors that you can use to connect a display: A HDMI connector and a VGA connector. Our philosophy on the MEGA65’s outputs is that over the VGA output, we deliver the “pure” retro-output (and you can also switch it to 15 kHz and composite sync for a true retro feeling) while HDMI is the “processed” modern output. So there is no “processing” such as CRT emulation and other things on the VGA output, while on the HDMI output several algorithms are working for a very nice looking authentic image.

2) Convenience

  • Can you rename this headline to "Convenience features"?
  • Please add these additional convenience features:
    • Switch joystick ports
    • Directly run .prg files and .crt files

installation.html

1) Installation

Does it make sense to use https://cores.mega65.org/ to link to the sister website so that the official link is being promoted?

2) Which file to install

Please fix the square brackets, i.e. the blue highlighted part of the text:

3) Issues with Cartridge Compatibility

First paragraph, replace "less then" by "less than"

Thank you for the great comments. The CSS headlines should be easy, the scroll is really strange, need to check this with several browsers. The VGA-that-is-not-VGA is a bit of a semantic problem, as you call it "VGA Display Mode" and I can surely change into that. Will work on all this Monday night. Scroll maybe later.

Content changes made, still looking into formatting options with the authors of the underlying theme.
