Stuck in French?

Mod has the game stuck in French, can't change it. Playing GoG version.

I've tried reinstalling the mod after a clean install of the game, still in Fraunch.
You all can comment on a feedback submitted a month later but can't even give me the time of day? What's up?

Same here, and there is no DoomConfig.cfg to change it anywhere either. It's not playable in this state, a shame to see all the effort gone to waste by something that simple.^

Edit: I had to do two things to fix this, as the VR version ignores every other setting:

1. create a textfile named "autoexec.cfg" in the Fully Possessed folder, containing just the line
   set sys_lang "english"
   That will change most of the UI to English
2. go to folder DOOM 3 BFG\base\strings. Open the english.lang and french.lang files in a text editor (like notepad++). Copy everything from the English to the French file (deleting the French text).

I had to do both steps to get the French out and make everything English again.....
