I sequenced a genome of a colonist, renamed it, then later made another sequence of that same colonist's genome after adding more organs from the Evolved Organs mod. After making that second sequence, my pawns couldn't trade anymore: they went to the comms/trader, but just stood there for a second before returning to work. After using development mode, I saw mention of this mod, and figured it was the genome sequences. I tried to test my theory by getting rid of the first sequence I made using a SRTS, but the loading panel showed up blank. After that, I had a colonist pick up the first sequence, then sent him away in a caravan. I was then able to trade again.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Sequence a colonist's genome
Rename that sequence
Add some parts from evolved organs
Sequence that same colonists genome again
Try to trade while both sequences are in your colony's stockpiles
