Adding files to existing dataset

Some users in lab were wondering how hard it would be to create the ability to add more files to an existing dataset. For instance, adding more timepoints to an existing time lapse dataset. I don't know how easy this would be, and not a super high priority. I assume internally it would involve remaking the dataset and adding back all existing annotations and snapshots?

For now, just wanted to put the idea here for future discussion.
