<li>git status: checks what branch we are currently on</li>
<li>git checkout -b branch name: creates a new branch and switches to it</li>
<li>GitHub workflow is create a branch, add commits, open a PR, discuss and review, then merge and deploy</li>

<li>A variable is a named container that allows us to store data in our code</li>
<li>Control flow is the order in which a computer executes code in a script</li>
<li>Placing JS near the bottom of an HTML page helps avoid problems</li>
<li>JS is case sensitive!</li>
<li>Array is a single variable that is used to hold a group of data</li>
<li>For loop contains 3 important statments: 1st determines starting point, 2nd is the condition, 3rd is what allows the array to iterate over each other</li>
<li>Functions do not automatically execute when the JS file is run, you must call a functions by name in order to execut it</li>
