Trainer can create tasks, but only superuser(s) can add checkers to it

I just created a task as a Trainer/Tutor but was not able to add checkers to it as I am not superuser.
In the task creation area, there is not checker under "Checker" listed.
It seems there is a mismatch in the right management, unless this is intended behaviour.

Are you a Trainer or Tutor (or both)?

The Trainer should be able to add and modify tasks, the Tutor not. In fact, a tutor should not be able to access the admin pages.

I am both. I was able to create and modify tasks, but I could not add checkers to the task. This was only possible when I switched to the superuser account.

Here, the Trainers usually are superusers as well, but you are right that this should be fixed.
