Hey Chris. Thank you for the remark. I will continue there. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do here in this package, I assume. I am using Arch Linux on my personal laptop, and NLopt builds from source on my machine. Apparently, they haven't made dependency script symmetric. Requiring sudo is way more constraining in my opinion. It is not only continuous integration in the end; they will miss users who do not necessarily have root access on a given Ubuntu, or apt-based, system.
