Is there any way to control the tick marks in color bars?

Something similar to plotnine's:

legend_ticks=element_line(color="white", size=2),

Personally, I like much thicker tick marks than the defaults.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to control the appearance of colorbar ticks currently.
