It is common knowledge that Derek Stick has sensibility issues that makes things harder to do, for example, aiming at FPS (Goldeneye, Perfect Dark), in the case of Smash it is quite difficult to perform moves such as walk, tilts, trying to do a dair without fastfalling and trying to do an up air without wasting the second jump, and specially the hardest with a Derek Stick, Pivot Up Tilting.
Jordan was working on this at some point of his 19XXTE 0.11 development but he finally discarded this idea in the new releases of 19XX since most competitive players don't use Derek anyways.
If you are interested to add support to these sticks you need to understand the nature of the problem.
