Minutes

    • Testing sprint is going well
    • 31 of 40 items are covered
    • Perhaps should add a section for Islandora 8 for Islandora 7 users.
    • Please submit proposals! About 3/4 of proposals so far are for Islandora 7. Be nice to have some more proposals.
    • Deadline is Friday!
    • This will be a long discussion about our committers workflow.
    • The workflow will be fairly different in CLAW because of the lack of JIRA.
    • We're moving back to a google doc so it's easier to leave comments.
    • Danny will be posting about this on the list, please give some feedback.
    • Mark J: Where should issues be created, in the main CLAW repo, or in each individual repo?
      • Danny: Hopefully we can keep everything in one repo, but we should discuss. It's possible maybe we can revisit how we do this.
      • Don: I think we should break it out into the individual modules.
      • Jared: Maybe we could use the CLAW repo for use cases, and break the tickets out into repos.
      • Seth: Some issues transcend one software piece, so we do need some higher level place for some issues.
      • Melissa: There is a fundamental difference between with JIRA and repos where there is an overarching ticket system, and each ticket is tagged with the modules.
      • Jonathan: Maybe we should continue to discuss, but ratify some of these things in a CLAW meetup at Islandoracon.
    • Please keep commenting and updating on the google doc.
  1. New issues:
    1. https://github.com/Islandora-CLAW/CLAW/issues/1096
      • Exporting a repository item
      • Mark J seems like he has a solution to this problem to create bags through command line.
        • Interested to hear cases where items don't want to be exported to bags
        • Also use cases where items need to be exported through the web interface
        • 7.x had the problem where exporting large collections in the web interface caused issues
          • perhaps we can have a micro service create the bags this time around
          • need to think about how we approach these kind of micro services
        • good idea to collect this feedback in a ticket so we can plan this solution
    2. https://github.com/Islandora-CLAW/CLAW/issues/1098
      • Some issues with the docs, tips and images aren't showing correctly.
