What happened?

I have minecraft installed on another drive, and the automatic installer still copies version files to the default directory. Everything else copies correctly, and folders such as \iris-reserved and \shaderpacks are still created, it just doesn't put the version files in the right place.

Does this happen even if you uncheck custom loader?

Yes, it still only adds the fabric version folder to the default directory
