As a user, I want to see a visual indicator while the Interim Constitution page is loading, so I know that the page is responsive and that the content is being loaded in the background.

Reasoning:

Currently, the page takes a few seconds to load due to the library used for scanning the document and generating the table of contents. Without a visual identifier, users may not know if their click was registered or if the page is unresponsive.

ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA:

  • Visual Indicator Implementation: Add a loading animation or a similar visual indicator (does not need to be a traditional loader) to notify users that the page is loading.
  • The visual indicator should be visible immediately after the user clicks to access the Interim Constitution page and remain until the content is fully loaded.
  • Design Consistency: The visual indicator should align with the overall design language of the platform (e.g., color scheme, style).
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure that the visual indicator does not impact the performance of the page or increase loading times.
  • Page to Update: TBD

This has been deployed to both SanchoNet and MainNet.
