The only actionable actions in the Button Controller app for the Red Switch (and I imagine some of the other Inovelli switches) are push and hold. Double and triple taps as well as well as release are not supported. Can you please update the driver so that these actions can be programmed in Button Controller and not just Rule Machine?

I vote against this. The switch already implements Central Scene. As such, double tap up is received as button two press and double tap down comes through as button two release. This is normal for central scene. The device driver is already busy enough. And although DoubleTappable is a capability, Tripple, Quadruple, etc are not. And there is no multi-tappable either, so implementing the tripple tap would require custom rules.
If anything, maybe creating child pushable buttons might work, but then that just becomes more complex than just using central scene with a button controller.
Just my thoughts.
