After meeting on March, 31st, Hacklab and @bwstefano decided to estimate development hours in a high level for the following 5 tasks
Feature
Issues
Geotagged Content API – At first there won’t be no front end mechanism to deal with these data and present them to visitors in the form of a map or a JSON file, but we want it to keep available and working, with all the information about geotag locations being saved in the database for future use generating a file that will replace the current JSON, which could be in JSON format or XML based, among other options that follow industry open standards.
No issue
Connecting posts to regions: Each point added will not only store geographic coordinates but also allow the user to identify which geographic context it refers.
Featured Image generator: This will be a section with a map to allow users to view the imported layer and select the zoom level and map center to generate a static map image that will be used as thumbnail for the Featured Image
Related posts: When the map’s zoom level show up too many stories, they will be aggregated in a way that a click in the correspondent area will zoom the map in to that enough to allow a disaggregation
