Case: If clusters are not being used when number of annotations are less then 1000

  • Update SLIM so when the user clicks in an annotation group (right panel), it zooms all to way to a random coordinate of that annotation group
  • Improve annotations style so it scales better at lower resolutions making them easier to spot but not sure if this could confuse the pathologist (making them appear bigger than they are)

This was observed for the following case from the 2024 WG26 connectathon

  • check how QuPath and Aperio ImageScope handle single-point annotations and clustering

Based on experiments with QuPath, it allows controlling for the size of point by showing circle centered at the point and has a user control for its size.

We agreed it may be easiest to have clusters control toggle in the UI to make those smaller annotations more prominent.
