<p>Make a game in 48 hours! Listen to great talks! Eat pizza! The purpose of Sonen GameJam is to gather aspiring game developers (programmers, artists, designers, composers, ...), rookies and veterans alike. Everyone is eligible to enter -- on their own or in a team -- and entry (as well as food) is free. No prior registration is needed, all you have to do is to show up at Sonen (3rd floor, room 3407), Ole-Johan Dahls hus, <strong>October 23rd!</strong></p>

<h2>Date</h2>
<p>The weekend on the <strong>3. - 5. November</strong> (week 43).</p>
<p>Theme announcement is at 17:00 on Friday, and the delivery deadline is at 17:00 on Sunday</p>
<p>However, registrations are open from 14:00, and useful talks will also be held before the theme announcement. Check the <a href='/calendar/'>Calendar</a> page for a full overview.</p>
<h2>Venue</h2>
<p>Sonen Game Jam will take place at room <strong>Ada 3407</strong>, also known as <strong>Sonen</strong>, located on the <strong>third floor of Ole-Johan Dahls hus</strong>, close to Forskningsparken station. <a href='http://www.openstreetmap.org/way/35201513#map=17/59.94351/10.71872'>(map)</a></p>
<p>If you already have a UiO student card, and need extended access to Ole-Johan Dahls hus during the weekend, please send us your full name and student number beforehand.</p>
<p>Guest accounts can be provided for those of you who aren't associated with UiO, allowing you to use the machines at Ole-Johan Dahls hus during the event.</p>

<ul>
<li>One game submission per team.</li>
<li>There is no restriction on the number of team members.</li>
<li>Time limit: 48 hours.</li>
<li>Game must conform with the given theme.</li>
<li>All programming languages allowed.</li>
<li>All publicly available frameworks, libraries & assets allowed.</li>
<li>Source code and a screenshot must be included in the final delivery.</li>
</ul>

<p>Still missing that special someone on your team that can make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside (or at least turn your pixel-poop into something you might dare to call "art" when nobody is listening?).</p>

<h2>Pizza, coffee & other foods</h2>
<p>Free pizza will be served Sunday afternoon. Please inform us beforehand if you've got any specific dietary needs.</p>
