The licensing in this repository is peculiar and can't work in any of my MIT licensed projects. After reading the license, I decided it would be safer to write my own library for this. Your open-source contribution seems to be really great, but I wanted to share a story in case your goal is adoption of the library.

Hi Seveibar,

Thanks for bringing up the issue. I have no idea why I did this with the licensing. It has been a long time with this little piece of code. I will change it to MIT or whatever is more permissive. Meanwhile feel free to copy/modify etc. Sorry for the confusion.
