Can deleted group URLs be reused?

I've just deleted a group (bad idea! I should have just edited its information... But I realised too late), and then wanted to create another one with the same URL (as the deleted one), but it's telling me the URL is already taken. Will this be purged from the database at some point, or will it be forever blocked? If the latter, is it at all possible to make a request for group undeletion? 😇

So the group data actually does still exist in our database, it has just been deactivated. We could reactivate it, though all members have been removed from it. Or if you want I could change the URL of the old group to something different and then you could create a new one with the same currentURL. Which would you prefer?
