Editing Menu bar font

Hi, I wanted to know how to edit the font in the menu bar. I could not seem to find this issue discussed anywhere.

See here how to customize the font set. You can indeed select any font you want for the menu bar by editing the nav_font field.

For editing font size/formatting of text in menu bar will I have to introduce css code? The previous version of academic starters had big bold nav bar text while I'm struggling to edit it in the most recent version. Thanks.

The global font size can be changed in your params.toml, but for tweaking specific parts you'll need to customize your style.
