Srt python compatibility module?

Im new to coding, comfortable with python,

Any way to call or utilize the srt-lib module with python to call or convert packets/data to srt?

Is there a python module for SRT

I feel it would give python users a lot of creative freedom.

Maybe something similar to this

Maybe if there was a SOCK_SRT, instead of a SOCK_DGRAM protocol for python, this could essentially all be handled by socket connections

Python is currently out of the scope of the project. But any contribution to this would be welcome!

There was some rough study of the subject done in the past. In particular, examinating SWIG as a way to provide bindings to different languages. There is a dedicated channel #swig in SRT Alliance slack, feel free to join.
I did a bit of a python wrapping in my branch develop/swig. Feel free to take it from there.

It is for C#, but SWIG can also produce python bindings.
