Make sure you have installed all Jekyll Prerequisites

Fork the Repository: Begin by forking our blog's GitHub repository to your own GitHub account.

Clone the Repository: Clone your forked repository to your local machine

Create a New Branch: Before making any changes, create a new branch for your contribution:
git checkout -b your-branch-name
- Blog Post Format: Blog posts should be written in Markdown format. Create a new Markdown file in the _posts directory following the naming convention
YYYY-MM-DD-title-of-your-post.md
- Front Matter: Include Front Matter at the beginning of your Markdown file with metadata like the post's title, subtitle, categories, tags, author, and a banner image. Here's an example:

After opening the pull request maintainers will verify the post and inform if any changes needed

Content: Write your blog post content in Markdown below the Front Matter. You can include text, code snippets, images, and links.

Images: If your post includes images, place them in the assets/images/banners directory.

Testing Locally: To preview your blog post locally, run jekyll serve and open your browser at http://localhost:4000. Ensure your post renders correctly.

Do not edit any other posts
- Commit Your Changes: After writing and testing your blog post, commit your changes to your branch:
git add -A
git commit -m "Add: Your Blog Post Title"
- Push to Your Repository: Push your changes to your forked repository:
git push origin your-branch-name

Create a Pull Request: Go to the original repository and create a Pull Request (PR) from your forked branch. Provide a descriptive title and details about your contribution.
- Don't forget to link PR to issue if you are solving one.
- We may ask for changes to be made before a PR can be merged, either using suggested changes or pull request comments. You can apply suggested changes directly through the UI. You can make any other changes in your fork, then commit them to your branch.
- As you update your PR and apply changes, mark each conversation as resolved
